Theme v1.0.0Shopify Dawn 15.4.1

Welcome

Thank you for purchasing NAVEGaid. This guide covers installing and activating the theme, configuring your store, and working with every section and block the theme provides.

NAVEGaid is built on Shopify Dawn 15.4.1, Shopify’s own Online Store 2.0 reference theme. Everything you already know about Dawn — color schemes, section groups, the theme editor — applies unchanged. On top of that foundation, NAVEGaid adds 38 custom sections, 25 reusable theme blocks, an extended product page, and a redesigned header.

Dawn knowledge transfers directly

Where this guide says a section behaves “as in Dawn”, Shopify’s own help center applies without modification. This guide focuses on what NAVEGaid adds.

How a Shopify theme is put together

Every page on your store is a template. A template is a stack of sections, and most sections hold blocks — the smaller pieces you add, remove and reorder inside them. The header and footer are section groups shared by every page. Store-wide styles such as colors and fonts live in Theme settings, which every section reads from.

Shopify allows up to 25 sections per template and up to 50 blocks per section.
