Footer

The footer group appears on every page. NAVEGaid gives you two footers to choose from: the standard Footer (shipped in the footer group) and the Custom footer section, a simpler brand-led layout you can add to the footer group.

Use one footer at a time

If you add the Custom footer to the footer group, hide or remove the standard Footer there — otherwise both render, one above the other.

The standard footer takes these blocks, in any order:

BlockContent
MenuHeading and a menu from Content → Menus.
Brand informationHeadline, description and image from Theme settings → Brand information, with optional social icons.
TextHeading and rich text.
ImageImage with width and alignment.
AppsApp blocks.

  • Email signup adds subscribers to Customers in your admin with email marketing consent.
  • Payment method icons show the payment methods enabled under Settings → Payments.
  • Policy links list the policies written under Settings → Policies.

Add it from Add section in the footer group. It has a logo area, menu columns, social icons and a bottom bar.

Custom footer links are set in the section

The Custom footer has its own social link fields; it does not read Theme settings → Social media. Replace the demo copyright text and description before publishing.

Removing “Powered by Shopify”

  1. Open the theme content editor

In Online Store → Themes, open the … menu on NAVEGaid and select Edit default theme content.

  2. Search for “powered”

Type powered in the search field.

  3. Replace the text

In the Powered by Shopify field, enter a single space and select Save.
