Collection Setup

Collection pages in NAVEGaid are built on the Product collection list section, which combines a product grid, filters, sorting and FAQ content in one section.

The Dawn banner and grid are hidden, not removed

Both collection templates include Dawn’s Collection banner and Product grid sections switched off. Show them again in the editor if you prefer the standard Dawn layout.

Product collection list

The section works in two modes, chosen automatically:

Where it is placed	Products shown	Filtering
A collection template	The collection being viewed.	Search & Discovery filters. Selecting a filter reloads the page and updates the URL.
Any other page	The collection chosen in the section’s Collection setting.	Instant filtering in the browser, without a page reload.

Main settings

Group	Settings
Product card	Image corner radius, rating (with a fallback value), discount badge, image flag.
Filters	Filters on or off, filter layout, sorting, collection images, “All products” label.
FAQ block	Open one or several rows at a time, arrow style, colors and sizes.
Layout	Section width, content width, products per page, padding and section corners.

Add Heading, Subheading, Text and FAQ blocks to put collection copy and questions alongside the products.

Filters

Filters come from Shopify’s free Search & Discovery app, not the theme. Install the app, choose your filters (availability, price, product type, vendor, variant options, metafields), and they appear in the section automatically.

If Filters is on but nothing shows, no filters have been set up in Search & Discovery yet.

Other collection sections

Section	Use it for
Product collection alt	A leaner filtered grid without content blocks. Pair it with Collection Blocks for copy, FAQs and a comparison table.
Collection Blocks	Headings, text, FAQs and a comparison table, with an optional left border to sit beside a grid.
Essential collection grid	A hand-picked set of products with their own images and titles; a slider on mobile.
Featured collection	A row of products from one collection, built from theme blocks.

Card styling

Card style, image padding, text alignment, color scheme, border and shadow for product and collection cards are set in Theme settings → Product cards / Collection cards.
