Theme Setup Guide

Work through the store in this order. Later steps depend on earlier ones — color schemes must exist before sections can use them, and menus must exist in the admin before the header can show them.

Key steps

Activate your licence

Paste the activation code you received into Theme settings → License → License key. See Installation.

Logo and favicon

Upload your logo under Theme settings → Logo and set its desktop width (50–300px, default 100px). The favicon is displayed at 32 × 32px, so upload a square image.

Color schemes

Edit the schemes under Theme settings → Colors. Every section picks a scheme, so a change here repaints every section using it. See Typography & Colors.

Page width and spacing

Theme settings → Layout sets the page width (1000–2400px) and the global section padding. Custom sections only follow the global padding when their Use global spacing option is switched on — see shared section controls.

Navigation menus

Build your menus under Content → Menus. The header uses main-menu by default; footer menus are chosen per block. See Navigation & Menus.

Header

Decide between the custom header and the standard Dawn header under Theme settings → Header, then configure the header section itself. See Header & Announcement Bar.

Cart

Under Theme settings → Cart, choose the cart type (drawer, page or popup notification) and pick the fallback products for cart recommendations. See Cart & Checkout.

Replace the demo content section by section

The shipped templates use demo text and design images. Open each section in the editor and swap in your own products, images and copy rather than rebuilding pages from scratch.
