Troubleshooting
Solutions for the most common issues you might run into with Product Spin AI.
My spin isn’t showing on the storefront.
- Make sure the product’s spin is set to Active (not Disabled) in the editor.
- On the Free plan, confirm you haven’t exceeded the 3-product limit — extra spins are paused automatically.
- Check that the app’s theme integration is enabled in your Shopify theme editor settings.
My image keeps failing the quality check.
- Use an image that’s at least 800×600 pixels and in focus.
- Try the Enhance with AI option to upscale and sharpen a borderline photo.
- Confirm the file is JPG, PNG, WebP, or GIF and under 2 MB.
I ran out of tokens mid-generation.
- You’ll be prompted to buy a token pack or upgrade your plan. Once your balance is topped up, you can continue. See How Tokens Work for more details.
A generation failed.
- Failed generations are refunded automatically. Try again and make sure your source image is a clear, well-lit shot of a single product.
A spin I made earlier is now paused.
- This usually means you’re on the Free plan and have more than 3 spins. Upgrade to reactivate all of them, or set a different product as one of your active three.
